I am always working to improve my skills whether at home, work, or school. I'm looking for new, challenging opportunities that will test my abilities and help me to grow.
Good 'N Plenty is a family owned establishment specializing in Pennsylvania Dutch cuisine. I scale, mix, prep, bake, and store a variety of items for sale in the bakery itself, upstairs in the restaurant, and at the local Bird-In-Hand Farmers Market.
Large-scale production of baked goods such as Shoo-Fly pie is a constant task, but creative new items (such as festive bouche de noels) are also encouraged when time allows.
I supervised other student workers in the circulation desk, duplication services, and stacks departments. We worked together to provide the best service possible for the numerous students and patrons, which included answering questions, providing direction and recommendations, modifying/organizing materials, and giving access to research articles.
I filled in for the head receptionist who was on sabbatical for three months. My duties included greeting and helping all guests who entered the school, coordinating school security, managing files and databases, answering/making phone calls, and an assortment of day-to-day tasks.
My typical tasks included shipping/receiving packages, breaking down/packaging products, keeping track of inventory, and cataloguing warehouse items using computer programs.
I performed standard retail tasks such as aiding customers, managing cash registers, maintaining stock on shelves, tracking inventory, and daily upkeep duties.
