Summary

Akira Hayasaka, the President and CEO of the Hayasaka Clinic, is a Certified Medical Doctor, and a liver disease expert in Japan. Akira’s mission is to help patients recover from liver diseases, not only in Japan, but all over the world. With more than 30 years of experience in the medical field, Akira is a Board Certified Hepatologist of the Japan Society of Hepatology, a Board Certified Gastroenterologist in Japan, and Board Certified Member of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine. He is also a Board Councilor of The Japan Society of Hepatology, The Japanese Society of Gastroenterology and former Clinical associated professor of medicine at Chiba University School of Medicine.

His main medical focuses include liver disease (Hepatitis C and B), gastrointestinal disease, obesity, and anti-aging care. Akira graduated Chiba University School of Medicine with Summa Cum Laude high honors. He then started to work as a medical resident for six years at some hospitals before he became a member of the First Department of medicine chaired by late Professor KunioOkuda). Outside of the clinic, Akira enjoys Kendo, reading, walking, and enjoying time with his wife, two sons, and two dogs.
