Successfully achieved more than 20% growth year-on-year within first 2 years of taking over the role.

Spearheading the Strategic Sourcing team for Electrical components, with procurement volumes of US$ 40 million per year only. Periodic / Project-based negotiations, finalization of Project Contracts / Annual Framework Agreements / Yearly pricing structure for major components like Protection & Auxiliary Relays, Digital Energy Meters, LV Protection & Indication gear etc.  Savings worth US$ 1.2 million was recognized in the first year of this assignment.

Handled Marketing & Business Development of Medium Voltage Switchgears for Domestic & Export Market. Focused approach for different market segments like Solar Energy, Export Market, Industrial Segment.

Secured orders against stiff competition with Crompton Greaves, Siemens, Schneider & major ABB Channel Partners. Booked orders from L&T ECC, Punj Lloyd, IVRCL Infra, GTL Infra in the first year of Assignment. Booked order for MSEDCL R-APDRP Packages and availed approval from MSEDCL.

Played a stellar role in developing the Low Cost solution for 11KV Air Insulated Switchgears - 16/25KA segment to penetrate the Utility & Low End Industry segment.

New Product development, with development of 11KV Outdoor type, Porcelain Clad VCB (type tests completed) and further approval with MSEDCL .Was instrumental in material cost reduction of 11KV Indoor Switchgear panels by around 18%.

Handled the Project Management function for Essar Oil Jamnagar Refinery Plant, 33KV Indoor Switchgear & expansion of 220KV Switchyard, involving close interaction with the client, as well as regular technical discussions with consultants like TCE, EIL & ABB Lummus Crest.

Won order from M/s Abhijeet Infrastructure of 132/33KV substation worth US$ 6 million, and ensured good savings from order finalization of equipment like Battery & Charger, MV & EHV Instrument Transformers, Dis-connectors, Control & Relay Panels, Lightning Arresters etc.

As a Graduate Trainee, was inducted into various Substation Project activities like Tendering, Procurement & site execution.

Successfully handled Site Execution of 3 nos. of 110/33-11KV substations in Hubli District for KPTCL.

Successfully tendered 220/110/11KV substation for KPTCL Nittur worth US$ 4 million, apart from 220/66/11KV substation for KPTCL Anandrao circle worth US$ 6 million.

Finalization of items like Control Cables, HT Power cables, Battery & Charger, Instrument transformers, Dis-connectors, Surge Arresters, Control & relay Panels, Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers,   yielding 16% savings, which involved activities like Techno-Commercial comparison, Vendor Negotiations & release of formal Purchase Order.
