Led development of new products under tight schedule & cost constraints; resurrected 2 major product platforms for Global OEM customers -  resulting in winning back a lost contract against an established global competitor - and resurrected to good profitability through intense cost reduction & complex injection molded design, to overcome limitations of the initial bid (quoted at a price below component costs)

Oversaw order to production processes (drawings, protoype runs & corrections, BOMs, part qualification, assembly instructions and plant orders) for a metal version of pre-cleaner

Designed & led through commercialization phases, low cost, high volume, injection molded, centrifugal particulate & water separators (95% eff.) for off road vehicles’ Tier 4 engine programs (MY 2012) [patent pending]

Established a new group, conducted regular project progress reviews with Customers & internal teams, managed tests, schedules, costs, drawings, risks and line constraints; leveraged collaboration tools to keep team on target

Executed multiple projects per Stage Gate processes and applicable internal & Customers' Quality & Management standards

Discovered an often mis-understood, collapse of pleated media (that was reducing run-time capacity by over 30%) & resolved these limitations - within overall cost and tight schedule targets

Leveraged engineering analysis, FEA tools, tests (structural, acoustic, hydraulics, thermal, dust, blowers, pumps, performance), packaging options and rapid evaluation tools to enhance new product development

Planned and led programs that improved cleaning efficiencies - by up to 20% for difficult contaminants on highly efficient sweepers, up to 80% for outdoor scrubbers, over 25% for vacuum cleaners along with 4 major, successful, completely new product prototypes & foundational IP

R&D returns doubled through enhanced technology strategy, focus on performance quality and through enhanced product commercialization process

Developed new technologies for at least 1 new product and proposals for up to 3 major upgrades every year

Led/executed multiple noise control projects that reduced NVH levels by over 10 dB(A) & dust emissions by over 75% on several new products. Resolved Filters, CE issues, fan, hydraulic, engine and packaging noise problems

Reduced foaming in detergent rich cleaning solution (in scrubbers) by over 80% through centrifugal compactors and sprays to meet a key market's need

Evaluated and developed compact scrub water treatment technologies for cheap, reliable and fast removal of contaminants (5,000+ ppm to < 250 in 10 min.) such as heavy metals, oils, grease and silt

Developed Test Standards; conducted performance, noise and modal tests, developed quality assessment and reporting tools for multiple products

Internal consultant for unique problems on Product Failure, CE/SAE Certification Standards, Regulatory clarification (pertaining to noise/vibration, air and water emission related to products), manufacturing issues and Cleanliness Standards

Designed and developed an insulating glass window with a novel, Warm Edge Technology that reduced window heat loss/gain by up to 25% and reduced winter time condensation days by 30%

Interfaced with customers and sales personnel to help win a new $4-10 Million/Annum Customer

Created residential (lighting and HVAC) energy models (using DOE2) for optimizing heating & cooling impacts of new IG designs and for pricing guidance based on energy savings

Developed structural, probabilistic failure (Weibull), seal failure and heat transfer models using ANSYS (FEA) for coupled response of sealed, insulating glass units (thermal and structural analysis)

Developed and conducted tests for seal structural strength, transport loads, accelerated gas & moisture exchange  and used these to update/ validate FEA models.
