(2010)

Summary

I have earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing at Concord University in USA. During those college years, I have sought to engage myself in courses and activities that would allow me develop a sound understanding and knowledge of both business and social environments.

Therefore, I took active participation in the Investment and International Students Clubs at Concord University as well as the Bonner Organization. I placed 2nd in the Portfolio Competition, two years in a row; also, I enthusiastically contributed to the organization and catering part of the annually held International Banquet, which goal is to familiarize the American students with international traditions, customs and cuisine.

Furthermore, through the Bonner Organization I worked on numerous projects, some including S.O.M.E. and DC Central Kitchen (Washington D.C.), CASE Children Care (Athens, WV), Red Cross and “Smilyana” (Bulgaria). I was team leader for two consecutive summer campaigns, organized by the Red Cross, aimed at raising AIDS and tobacco awareness among high school students.

All the while involved with college courses and extracurricular activities, I also worked for Aramark for three and a half (3.5) years. My position of a Shift-Supervisor facilitated my understanding of the business processes and complemented my courses.

In addition, I interned at Cedar Point’s Food Division as an Area Supervisor. I spent 3 seasons with Cedar Point; during those seasons I had the unique opportunity to further translate my theoretical knowledge into practice and build upon and polish my business acumen as well as to add new talents to my arsenal. As a result my area of supervision brought in the highest revenue in Foods Division, recorded the lowest labor percentage and also achieved the best per-cap numbers. Yet in addition, the area received the lowest amount of guest complaints.

All those experiences enhanced my beliefs and shaped up my future aspirations. As a result, I am currently pursuing my Master of Science degree in Marketing and Brand Management at NHH in Norway. I am, also, looking forward to joining a dynamic and energetic team of professionals at a global organization championing the Triple Bottom Line approach and working towards enriching and improving the cultural, social and economical lives of the members in the organization’s immediate environment.

I am adamant I posses the skills required to actively and successfully contribute to my immediate team as well as the organization as a whole. And in order to do so, I find it imperative in today’s intense and ever-changing business, political and social environments to continuously educate myself and improve my talents. Thus, I enjoy constantly challenging myself both mentally and physically so as to stay sharp and maintain my competitive edge. Furthermore, I am sanguine, enthusiastic, open-minded and with knowledge and first-hand experience of a broad array of cultures from all around the world; that, I consider a necessity in today’s global market.

I am looking forward to be working with you.
