My name is Kristine Osgood, and I would appreciate your consideration for your position that is available in my field of study. I know that it is a very competitive process, but I am confident I have the passion and determination needed for a position within your company.

Currently, I am a Senior Public and Interpersonal Communications major at North Carolina State University. I will be a part of the December 2010 graduating class in a few weeks. During the process of obtaining my degree I have learned the value of what having strong communication skills and techniques can bring to businesses. I am looking for a position that would bridge what I have learned in the classroom with the practical aspects of daily business operations.

For the past five years I have had the privilege of working as the office assistant of Pristine Auto Spa. I have grown within my position within the company. I started as a receptionist and my duties have increased to include handling the bank deposits, the daily operations of the shop, and also being the liaison between customers and management. It is important to know the strengths and weaknesses of a company and that can be achieved by having strong dialogue between the customer and the corporation.

In addition to having an understanding of the importance of company image and communication, I have the desire to work hard and learn more about how it works. I will also bring my strong writing skills, organization, and enthusiasm for the work being done. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.
