Meet Niels, an ambitious 25-year-old guy, born and raised in Beveren. Niels works as a Marketing Manager at yondr, an agency specialized in creating high-end 360video. Actually, he can be considered as the Jack-of-all-trades within yondr. He's responsible for online marketing, social media management, digital marketing and event marketing. After working three years at yondr he can be considered as one of Belgium's Virtual Reality specialists. But what's his story?
During my studies to become a cross-media manager I, as a poor student, earned money in two different ways:
I've been working in a local restaurant where I developed my leadership and social skills which are two valuable assets to possess in your skill set. Secondly, I spin the turntables in weekends at different bars, clubs and festivals. Music is my passion and making your job out of your hobby is what drives me and makes you go the extra mile.
After my graduation, I got the opportunity to work for yondr. Yondr was and still is a leader in Belgium when it comes to VR / 360video. So while yondr was still in a start-up stage back then I was able to grow together with the company to a higher level on both national as on an international base.
I'm allowed to say I can be grateful to yondr since I've learned a lot from my colleagues about how business works on C-level, about business development and got the opportunity to experiment a lot with digital marketing and different growth tactics. Yondr taught me to think out-of-the-box and go out of my comfort zone. I appreciate the skills I have earned here at yondr and look forward to expanding my skill set in the future.
