Raving Fans

"I have had a great many phone conversations over the last three days and seemingly no matter to whom I speak - other SMEs, Curriculum Specialists, Project Managers and folks in Instruction - both of your names appear to keep bubbling up (read: you two have a considerable number of raving fans!)

Just wanted to pass along the love, celebrate you both and encourage you two to keep up the great work."

Letter of Intent

Throughout my educational career I have clung to the following truth: Students are the center of education and should therefore be the center of our decision making process.

In order to lead one must have the capacity to serve a diverse population and listen and communicate effectively. My success thus far is greatly attributed to my ability to lead both my students and colleagues through building relationships, listening and effective communicating.

My curriculum development experience, both in my former county and at Florida Virtual School, has enabled me to develop relationships across teams and work towards solutions that are best for student success and real world application. My experience in the classroom has equipped me to maintain a positive relationship with others while still maintaining a leadership role guiding students toward success in the classroom and beyond.

I know that my experience and high level of communication will contribute positively  to infuse 21st century skills into the educational world- always staying mindful of why we are here, the success of the student.

Objective

To become a servant leader using my talents to help students gain success in the virtual classroom
