Dr. Sweet grew up in Fort Wayne, a small city in northeast IN. As a teenager, she had a life changing experience with braces and orthognathic surgery. It was this experience that drew her to practicing dentistry.
Dr. Sweet attended DePauw University where she studied biology, chemistry, and classical music. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and performed in many of the choral groups and opera productions on campus. After college, she moved to Indianapolis and immediately entered dental school at Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Since earning her DDS in 2008, she has worked for Aspen Dental, first as an Associate in the Indianapolis area and then as a Managing Clinical Director in a busy office just outside of the city. Dr. Sweet is a current member of the American Dental Association and participates in a study club that focuses on providing clinical excellence through comprehensive dentistry.
When she in not working, Dr. Sweet enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Andy. Together, they have spent the past few years restoring their home in a historic district of downtown Indianapolis. Dr. Sweet and her husband are looking forward to new adventures in the Pacific northwest, where they will be closer to both of their families and many nieces and nephews.
