Offshore Delivery Manager


Delivery Manager for EDS SOLCORP’s offshore operations in Chennai, India, involved in a number of globally based projects integrating the Ingenium insurance system on various platforms.

vManaging 80 staff with delivery responsibility for 3 large and 9 smaller projects. Project manage and support global IT initiatives for some of the largest insurance companies in the world with budgetary control up to $5m.

vThe role involves strategy, planning and high level solutions architecture from both business and IT aspects. Running the centre requires a wide range of skills for staff, customer, project and delivery management. In addition I have formulated various methodologies and strategies for training, education and knowledge transfer.

vAligning synergies in multiple clients, projects, teams and deliveries, both with onshore based EDS teams and directly with our clients, as programme manager. Working closely with the VP of Operations on day to day management of the offshore facility. Responsibility for evolving the centre’s offshore results delivery strategy. The projects often involve aggressive deadlines and budgets but despite the constant pressure and challenges involved, under my management the teams continue to deliver successful solutions to meet the clients’ business and IT needs.

vDuring the last 6 months I have leveraged approximately $5m of consultancy deals in boardroom level negotiations, travelling across Asia to client sites delivering pre and post sales solutions presentations.
