Nichole Coscia of Wakefield, Massachusetts, has won many awards through athletics and academics. During her years at Wakefield Memorial High School, Nichole Coscia earned accolades in three separate sports. As a four-year member of the varsity girls’ ice hockey team, Nichole Coscia was voted an All-Star every year, All-League twice, and was a Captain her senior year. She was also on the elite women’s ice hockey team Chelmsford Lions, which won two national championships.
Playing two years on the varsity field hockey team, Nichole Coscia was voted to the All-Star team both years and the All-League team one year. As a member of the lacrosse team, she earned Most Improved Player of the Year honors. Due to her all-around athletic success, Nichole Coscia won the Distinguished Athlete Award from the U.S. Marine Corps after her senior year.
While attending the John F. Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart University, Nichole Coscia earned Dean’s list honors in 2009. Also during the spring of 2009, Nichole Coscia volunteered her services as an Income Tax Assistant with VITA, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Working her way through the Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced VITA/TCE certified training, the IRS recognized Nichole Coscia’s effort by awarding her the Outstanding Public Service Award in April 2009.
Utilizing her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, experience with VITA, and a finance internship with Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., Nichole Coscia is currently working toward a Master of Business Administration. Seeking additional athletic accomplishments, Nichole Coscia is also training for the Warrior Dash, a three-mile obstacle course involving water, fire, mud, and climbing walls.
