Nic is currently an Arts Journalism Graduate Student at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. He currently works as part of the Content Management Team for the Newhouse School, specifically updating the alumni database. He is also a contributor to, a news website run by Newhouse students. He is also a lead producer for "Artsy Pants", an art and culture podcast run by the Goldring Arts Journalism program. 

Nic is a graduate of Macon State College in Macon, GA. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in New Media and Communications. While at MSC Nic was a staff writer for The Macon Statement, the campus newspaper. He published a short fiction piece in The Fall Line Review, the college's literary magazine. He also wrote, produced, and directed two films, a documentary called "Hole in the Wall", and an original narrative entitled "Night Shift". 

From August 2010 through December 2011, Nic interned at Digital Sports Broadcasting, LLC.where he was a production and on-air broadcast intern, covering local high school football games in the Macon area, going as far as broadcasting out of the Georgia Dome for the AAA State Championship Game.
