Nigel is a Serial Entrepreneur - a very experienced senior executive with 20 years working at board and senior executive level in technology based companies. Specific experience in software development, project management, engineering, manufacturing and technology areas covering Defence, Telecommunications, Transport, IT, Utilities and Clean Technologies.


·P&L responsibility for small and large businesses ranging from a few staff to over 2,000 staff in Australia, USA, Hong Kong and Europe.

·P&L responsibility of the largest dispatch call centre in the world handling over 10,000,000 phone calls per year.

·Responsible for contracted staff numbering over 8,000 people.

·Numerous company turnarounds and restructuring; reducing costs by up to 50% and creating new market penetration.

·Led 2 Start-ups, 6 M&A’s (including one on the ASX as Chairman) and involved in 2 IPO’s

·Commercialisation and development of Intellectual Property – currently 3 Patents pending.

·Won over $500M through leadership of tenders and proposals for engineering and project based services.

·Creation of International Channel Sales networks covering USA, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

·Awards for innovation, entrepreneurship and marketing also International Conference Speaker.

·Directorships and Advisor in Marketing and Technology companies.

Nigel has held a number of leadership roles in various international companies including MD for 5 years at EASAMS (A GEC Marconi Company); nearly 4 years at British Aerospace as Sales Director and Deputy MD and 4 years at AquaSpy, Inc as its CEO and President. In addition he also was engaged in turnarounds and reconstructions at CCN Limited as MD for over 1 year; at Simoco Pacific Pty Ltd as MD for 6 months and in Hearnshaw & Partners Pty Ltd for 3 years as its MD contracted to a number of clients.

His core strengths are in operations research, business modeling, operational management, strategic planning, business development and an ability to quickly understand even the most complex of businesses and technologies.Nigel holds a degree in Cybernetics and Mathematics as well as post-graduate diploma in Meteorology and Physical Oceanography. He is a Fellow of the Australia Institute of Company Directors and holds a diploma as a director. He has undertaken many professional and post-graduate courses in business, finance, law, sales, marketing and public relations.

He is a proficient conference and after dinner speaker on various management and technical topics. He has also published several articles on business development and business improvement in the Australian Company Directors Magazine and in other publications and was featured as an Entrepreneur and Innovator by the Bulletin Magazine and Small Business Magazine. He is a member of a prestigious Working Party for the Provision of Science and Technology for the Premier of South Australia as well as being selected to be a Director of the Export Committee organized by the Water Industry Alliance and National Water Commission.
