I am an optimist, who believes that "Dreams do come true, if you are ready to sacrifice everything else just for it."
Being a Private practice owner and an ardent physiotherapist,I have understood the needs of the physiotherapy private practice community at large and I have also witnessed that the general public are utmost need of physiotherapy services for every individual. There is a huge gap between the health care requirement and the service delivery. In reality there is no Saturation or neglect towards physiotherapy, there is only absence of effective service delivery. I pledge to play my part effectively towards bridging the gap.
Being an academician for an year, I could understood the basic impairments of educational system in India, especially in physiotherapy education. This experience shed light on the way it is being exploited by management and how it affects students and in-turn the quality of the outcome, due to lack of emphasis in essential aspects of curriculum, inadequate syllabus and clinical exposure to meet the current need in the developing scope of the profession, and at the same time inappropriate/no use of available resource by students should also be considered, many such factors has driven me to look for an alternate or a solution to overcome the turmoil.
