Objective

Within the next 10 years, I would like to be settled in a good and stable work environment where I can perform at my best and grow to the highest I can reach. I strive to be the best in everything that I approach and like to be challenged. I believe in lifelong learning and try not to stagnate in a particular position. 

I'm a very driven and hard-working person who set high goals for myself and I will always strive to succeed in my goals.  

One of my other passions in life is to travel the world while building work experience, as I believe that you have to grab every opportunity that comes your way. This was my motivation to apply for a winter work and travel program, as I saw this as a perfect opportunity to build experience on a international level and to grow into what I want to become.

I see myself as a very loyal employee and believe that if you are loyal to your employer they would always be loyal towards you.

As the financial manager it is expected to have the farms financial interests at heart and to take full responsibility of finances. 

Tasks would include, but is not limited to: 

Daily tasks comprises of updating exchange rates and capturing of bank account transactions, updating the petty cash and capturing data for debtors and creditors. 

Weekly tasks comprised of bank accounts and petty cash reconciliations, casual wages and bi-weekly wages, cash flow update and reconciliations of debtors and creditors.

Monthly tasks involve debtors and creditors payments/processing/reconciliations and queries, monthly cash flow and budget updates as well as reporting on discrepancies, present financial meetings with directors to report on balance sheet/income statement/cash flow and debtors, reconciliation and submitting of employee taxes, value added tax and excise duty, diesel allocations, capturing of business credit card transactions, monthly salaries, preparing documentation of import payments and export receipts, reconciliation of all related party loan accounts / month-end journals exp. depreciation 

The above mentioned tasks is specific tasks that needs to be completed but ad-hoc tasks also form part of the  daily route as the financial manager. 

The above tasks are performed on SAP Business One and all the necessarily Microsoft Office programs.

I can describe my personality as well as my goals in life as follow:

I have good leadership qualities. I've been taught to take responsibility for my actions from a very young age and I strive to do so. Therefore I’ll consider all the options and consequences before I make any decision. My parents drive for success have been my motivation to succeed in everything that I take on. I'm a very driven, hard working and dedicated person with a lot of perseverance. My belief is that virtually every obstacle we encounter in life, personal or professional, can be overcome with a positive attitude and hard work. I have always been complimented on my confidence, endurance and prompt response, no matter in what situation I'm in. Everyone has their own way of defining success, be it financially, socially, spiritually or in any other way. To me it is to be balanced in all different aspects in life.  I'm a very independent person and when it comes to taking care of myself I have no difficulties doing that. In a work environment I can make decisions that will always be to the best advantage of my employer. I am a pleasant employee that interacts with other employees and I’ll never let the opportunity to make new friends go pass me.
