Neil Vandehey graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and marketing in 2003, and shortly after, he began working as a secondary marketing lock desk officer for Portland Mortgage Company. During the year he spent with the company, his talent earned him a promotion to wholesale account executive. In 2005, Neil Vandehey accepted the position of wholesale banking account executive at United Financial Mortgage Corporation; shortly thereafter, he left to take a similar position at ComUnity Lending, Inc. He subsequently became a senior wholesale banking executive at EverBank and, later, a mortgage loan officer at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Mr. Vandehey accepted his current position in 2011.
