Recently employed At the Prepared Food Annex of the El Cerrito Natural Grocery Company. My duties included Ice Cream counter service, Deli counter service, and manning of the Rotisserie station. I also began training on the Pizza Oven station. I helped provide the Company with consultation on business efficiency while fielding and relating customer feedback to management. Operated the cash register and closure of the till and took pride in meticulous clean-up of the various stations I was assigned to as well as next-day set up for the various departments.
My primary focus at 111 Minna was setting up of the bar and while tending, providing the highest quality customer service. I have a second hand knowledge of ordering, stocking, changing kegs, and basic bar backing duties. While there, I also helped create an enjoyable bar atmosphere by providing music and offering drink specials. I also helped book DJ's and a number of bands to perform and found a space for artists to display their work. This was instrumental in helping generate business while creating a pleasant happy hour experience for the customers.
Scanned drawings from animators, colored and rendered files, and added motion effects to various commercials and other 2D projects such as The Chuck Jones Hour for Cartoon Network, The Rocky and Bullwinkle Movie, and Cap'n Crunch & Cocoa Pebbles cereal commercials.
Set up cafe, made espresso drinks, and served food. Kept the kitchen in order and helped to maintain a friendly cafe atmosphere.
Studied painting and photography, culminating in a show of my photos at the Still Lights Gallery. Left the Institute to work full-time in animation.
I trained under Danya while working at Wild Brain when we were just out of college. We also worked together at the Natural Grocery Company Annex. I have learned countless Industry skills from her and many valuable tips on how to perfect my Career focus.
Worked and trained with David for eight years at 111 Minna Gallery. Learned invaluable bar tending skills and problem solving techniques from him and he was witness to my growth from bar back to bartender.
