I am a recipient of the Oklahoma State Non-Resident Achievement Scholarship. I received this scholarship for my high GPA and SAT scores.


Originally born in Aurora, Colo., I moved to Plano, Texas at the age of 6.  During my high school career, I was a member of the Plano West Varsity golf team.  I am currently a Sports Media student at Oklahoma State University.  My major fits my love of sports perfectly.  In my eyes, a perfect life is being surrounded by sports all day, every day.  I am passionate about everything I am involved in.  I have always had a fun, outgoing personality.  Because I am a major people person, my choice to study public relations was a no-brainer.

Throughout my work history and college career, I strengthened multiple skills.  These skills include:

I started this internship in May 2008.  I maintained the position throughout the summer of 2008.  In May 2009, I accepted the same intern position again for the summer.  In May 2010, I was once again asked to fulfill the intern position.  I happily accepted and maintained the intern position for my third consecutive summer.
My internship duties included:
  • Finalizing property taxes and tax files for numerous businesses
  • Creating Excel spreadsheets that provide businesses with their tax history for the specified year
  • Completing various assigned tasks such as assembling packets of information required for meetings with customers and delivering finalized property tax files to the county office.
  • Contacting each county to acquire finalized tax values for each specified year.
  • Produced Cost Approach and Income Approach evaluations for existing clients.

Camp Counselor

Hank Haney Golf Ranch

During summers, Hank Haney Golf Ranch would set up camps for kids eager to learn the skills and values of golf.  I received golf lessons at Hank Haney Golf Ranch during my high school career.  The counselor position was a great opportunity to pass down my love of the game.  

As a counselor, I:

  • Organized camp workstations before camp began.
  • Assisted in teaching the skills of golf to camp attendees.
  • Directed the activities of the camp attendees.
