This is a world class refinery to incorporate a world class gasification and carbon capture and storage solution. Construction has started on Phase 1 of a three phase, 150, 000 barrels per day bitumen blend refinery that will produce diesel, diluent and other products for the Alberta and world markets. Schneider Electric is the Main Electrical Contractor(MEC) for the project. The MEC Scope is defined as the site wide electrical distribution systems from the site Utility(AESO/AltaLink/Fortis 240kV Substation) interface to the Process Unit interfaces. This includes the Power Equipment, Power Equipment Buildings(PEB's), Transformers, Critical Services Generators, Cable Bus, Cables and Protection Relay and Monitoring Systems etc. As a Project Planner, responsible for Planning and Scheduling. Working seamlessly with the Project Director and Project Manager to ensure all items are communicated effectively to all internal and external stakeholders.
