Worked as a sales associate to greet customers, give superior customer service, have an extensive knowledge of products in order to communicate with the customers and sell apparel with persuasion.

Accomplishments include:

·Facilitated in profiting the company by selling more than $2000 worth of apparel daily, compared to daily goals of $1600.

·Implemented superior customer service in order to build a clientele of 150 people.

·Improved operations by updating the sales ledger daily using Microsoft Excel.

·Saved organization money by creating an Excel spreadsheet for the employees to record their sales

·Assisted manager in floor set updates, changing mannequins and transferring merchandise.

·Marketed the company’s sale events by creating and mailing out post cards, passing out flyers, creating Facebook events and posting on Twitter.

Interned in the fashion jewelry department as strictly commission sales. Duties included assisting the department manager with creating schedules, attending weekly productivity and leadership seminars with company executives.

Accomplishments include:

·Achieved an average sales volume of $250 an hour, or $2000 a day.

·Followed up with customers by phoning them and writing thank you notes.

·Listened to the needs of the associates in order to properly schedule their hours.

·Trained new seasonal salespeople in the fashion jewelry department.

·Assisted manager with creating individual and team productivity goals for the Anniversary Sale event.

·Successfully led a bra fit event by phoning clients which increased department sales by 20%.

-Collaborated with other students in various majors to design and market the next iHome for SDI Technologies. As many obstacles arose, such as students with conflicting priorities, I took the lead to make sure our project was successfully completed on time. I presented my team’s marketing campaign through PowerPoint to upper level management at SDI Technologies and we were rewarded $2,000 for our innovative and creative ideas.

-Participated on a team to design, produce, and market a line of blankets for a non-profit organization for battered women in the Philadelphia area.Our project was recognized by teachers for being creative and well presented.
