The Director of the Center for Professional Excellence for the Paul R. Carter College of Business at Harding University is responsible to plan, develop and administer employment assistance and career development programs for the students and graduates of the Carter College of Business. Major initiatives currently in progress include: internship development and coordination among business departments; full integration of career development services along with job-search instruction and support; employer outreach; refinement of alumni career services and networking; and application of career services technology solutions.

The Assistant to the President is a member of the President's staff and the central administrative team of Harding University. As  Assistant to the President, I am responsible to and receive assignments from the President and assist the President by serving as a liaison between students, faculty, and staff.  As well as, Coordinates administrative, operational, and financial activities of the Office of the President. Performs general duties and tasks and serves as a liaison between the President's Office and campus officials. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
