I moved quickly from Associate into a Customer Service Coordinator position, where I managed approximately 30 cashiers in shifts of eight to ten, and handled customer relations.  I served as a liason between management and associates, conducting formal and informal training and performance reviews.  I observed associate and customer interactions from a loss prevention standpoint and ensured timely completion of scheduled and special tasks.  I have stepped down from this position to allow the company to train my replacement before I depart.

I handled inbound and outbound calls, sales, and customer service during the holiday 2008 season.  While I truly enjoyed the call center atmosphere, I needed a more secure environment - especially in light of my current profession's instability - in order to change my career path, and so did not make this a permanent change.

As a realtor I attracted and maintained a client base and converted leads into sales, skills that will be useful at Center Partners.  I needed to keep abreast of the changes within a vast inventory, along with researching and analyzing the market.  I created and implemented wide-ranging marketing plans and conducted contract negotiations from both sides of the sale through close of escrow.  Being a Realtor gave me the opportunity to develop relationships with a wide variety of people, which has given me insight into different personalities and how to approach and handle them differently.

In this position I was responsible for selling premium sponsorships and exhibitor space and sourcing the market for key manufacturers and designers at national tradeshows and markets.  I utilized my diverse business contacts to help grow the business by cultivating key vendor relationships, increasing market space for my account areas.

I developed private label business with the following catalogs: Anthropolgie, Boston Proper, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Soft Surroundings, and Sundance Catalog.  I was responsible for timely product development from concept to delivery.  I negotiated price and terms in order to maintain and increase gross profit margins while working with design and production to ensure quality control and meet delivery deadlines.  I personally trained store managers in the current product lines to ensure maximum customer service.

I managed Key Major and Specialty Accounts for the showroom, overseeing all designer labels.  Other responsibilities included merchandising the showroom, maintaining a current sample inventory, overseeing a showroom staff of 15, and projecting production for the Western and Southwestern territories.  I also facilitated market preparation of forthcoming inventory, ensuring a successful and complete movement of inventory.

Summary

I have an extensive background working with incoming and outgoing phone services and have developed stellar phone etiquette and problem solving skills.  Known for my ability to diffuse tense situations and reverse negative responses, I have been an invaluable asset to my past peers and supervisors alike.  I have developed superior internal and external customer service capabilities, and subordinates feel comfortable approaching me for guidance and assistance.  In my experience each company has its own proprietary software systems, and I adapt easily.  I look forward to learning Center Partner's systems and culture, and helping the company and its people to realize their full potential and expand their boundaries.

To establish myself within Center Partners in an upwardly mobile position in the sales department, putting my experience with opening new locations to work.
