Feb 2008Present

Lone Oak Youth Baseball and Softball Association

I am an umpire at the LOYBSA park in Paducah, KY during the summer. I do not work there during the fall and spring because I live in Murray for school. I have been there since 2008 and I love being an umpire because it gives me a chance to be around people and to help better develop my personal skills. I am required to handle fans and coaches in a professional manner and I believe that I can carry that quality into any field of work.

Nov 2012Present

I was hired on at the JCPenney in Paducah, KY for seasonal help in November 2012. I worked on the sales floor helping people find items and on the register. After the holidays, they asked me to work there full time as a part of the support team in the stockroom. I have been working for the company since they first hired me; however in the summer of 2013 I moved to Murray for school and was able to transfer to the store there. I feel that working for JCPenney has helped improve my teamwork skills as well as my abilities to handle difficult situation with customers. These are skills that can be used in any type of job.
