About Naoyuki Baba Grape City

A resident of Sendai, Japan, Naoyuki Baba has served as chief executive officer (CEO) and president of GrapeCity, Inc., a creator of school management software, since 2005. In this position, he manages all of the company’s global operations, as it maintains a presence in 15 countries. He regularly visits all of its headquarters in these countries. Interested in the welfare of his global employees, Naoyuki Baba possesses a strong business sense and encourages workers to deliver quality products and services to customers.

Before he took on the roles of CEO and president, Naoyuki Baba served as the Japanese company’s vice president from 2000 through 2005, and its chief financial officer from 1996 through 2000. Earlier, he worked at its sister company, the MeySen Academy, where he served in sales and accounting.

An active individual, Mr. Baba enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, basketball, and baseball. He speaks fluent English, Japanese, and Chinese, and maintains proficiency in Thai. Before he entered the work force, he spent two years in Thailand and one year in Taiwan, where he participated in volunteer work.
