I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this role. I stepped into this role for a maternity relief term of six months. In that time I led the front of house team to the best of my ability. I had a strong focus on developing our culture within the restaurant to give a positive flow on to our customers. My dedication to excellence and leadership ability largely contributed to the success of the restaurant and was recognised as 'Best Casual Dining 2012' at Clubs NSW Awards for Excellence 2012.

What I love the most about this role is the ability to create an environment for our guests to enjoy a memorable experience and all the challenges that come with trying to achieve that.

My intentions when I stepped into this role was to assist to create a great working environment, identify efficiencies and to live and model Mingara's values. I have stayed true to my intentions and have achieved small efficiencies and also some intangible culture wins.
