  • An active EXCOM member participating at Executive Meetings, yearly budgets and other strategic activities of the Hotel including the de-flagging process and handover to a new operator
  • Responsible for recruiting, selecting and developing department’s managers
  • Re-positioned the Hotel through a total review of sales & marketing strategies and involved in the change of the Hotel’s working culture
  • Implemented quarterly F&B workshops for all IHG properties in the area
  • Involved in duty management on a rotational basis and responsible for the operation
  • Achieved multiple Restaurants awards (Oman Today and Wine Spectator 2009 & 2010)
  • Achieved and maintained HACCAP certification since November 2009
  • Only department to achieve budgeted F&B costs in 2009
  • Driving the planning and execution of the 25th anniversary and other gala events of the Hotel

  • Overseeing and managing the project, planning and design of the F&B outlets and operation frompre to post opening of the Hotel
  • Planning and implementing F&B policies and procedures, SOP, manning, budgets, operational equipments and FF&E for F&B outlets and the Hotel’s public areas
  • Highly involved in recruitment and selection of the entire Hotel team (HODs, Asst. HODs, line staff) through campus recruitment, open days and walk-in interviews
  • Launched the Hotel through creative parties and media launches
  • Involved in the creation of the most exclusive Private Club and Beverage Program in India
  • Highly involved in other aspects of the Hotel operation such as: HR, FO, HK, Sales and Security
  • Involved in duty management on a rotational basis and responsible for the operation during GM’s absence

  • Achieved the highest BSC and TMOS in Asia Pacific in 2007
  • Member of the H&S committee of the Hotel and internal auditor of HACCP system
  • Managing a department with a total revenue of over 20M US$ yearly(nearly 50% of total Hotel revenue)
  • Selected for the “PAL” and “4D” assessment
  • Developed and promoted over 50 team members of the F&B department through a coaching program
  • Reduced and controlled F&B costs to respectively 32% and 28% by working closely withExec. Chef and F&B teamafter first 6 months    of 2007

A passionate, energetic and enthusiastic personality, with over 20 years of international experience in 8 countries from “classic” to “cutting edge” and from “business” to “resorts” operations. Strong financial acumen and totally customers and team oriented.

A natural leader and a “front liner”. I enjoy working around the jet –set, the luxury lifestyle and cater for the most discerning clientele.

In 2004, “Hospitality Magazine Asia Pacific”, granted me the honour to be the “F&B Personality” of the year for Singapore and Malaysia.

Currently I am the F&B Dir. of the Al Bustan Palace, one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, catering for Royalties, Heads of State and VIPs from around the world.
