As the online communications coordinator for San Antonio's largest and most preferred healthcare system, developed internal and external communications including:

• writing for system and hospital leaders

• on-call for media and emergency situations

• planning, organizing and hosting community and member events

• responsible for all online communications, including auditing and managing sites, content and vendor services and statistic reporting to leaders

• leading efforts to redesign and migrate the division and each facility website to a new content management system

• developing and executing website and social media strategy, policy and daily communications including around the clock monitoring

• developing and administering a brand management strategy that integrated traditional marketing and public relations with websites that include our division website and dozens of micro sites that are shared via blogs and social media sites

• serving as the social media and web expert for the system--guiding colleagues, leaders and physicians regarding basics and strategy based on best practices

•serving as team member of HCA's Interactive Digital Media Council--a nationwide team that met virtually to strategize digital media initiatives on a corporate level for all hospitals owned by HCA, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services. HCA includes about 183,000 employees at 164 hospitals and 106 freestanding surgery centers in 20 states and Great Britain.

Some projects earned state and national awards and were featured in other local media. Wrote a popular features column for three years.
