Seventeen-year professional with diverse communications background (agency/corporate public relations; traditional/digital marketing; and editorial) seeks exciting, challenging opportunity to expand skills and enables me to make a substantial contribution to the organization.
What I'm looking for: A position that enables me to create and execute a variety of internal and external communications programs, including employee and leadership communications, public relations and media relations that achieve key business goals. Ideally, I would serve as strategic communications consultant to executive and senior leadership teams, supporting their business communications including face-to-face, print and electronic channels.
·Strategic communications (internal and external); marketing (traditional and interactive)
·Public relations strategy and execution (agency and corporate)
·Excellent writing and editing skills (contributing columnist and executive ghost writer)
I serve as the company spokesperson for Nurun. This is an example of a radio interview I gave in the Fall of 2011, discussing all things interactive and representing Nurun at the same time.
I came up with the idea for this article based on a question asked in a group on LinkedIn. My one response on LinkedIn generated a sufficient number of comments and request to be connected, and Mashable liked the idea as well.
I secured my managing director as a contributing columnist for OMMA magazine. I helped him come up with this idea, outlined the article, and wrote it on his behalf.
I am a regular contributor to Nurun's blog, Digitalforreallife.com. This is an example of one of the articles I've written.
I am a regular contributor to the Nurun blog, Digitalforreallife.com. In the first six months of the blog's existence, my blogs ranked consistently in the top three shared, read, and commented on articles. In addition, I was also responsible for coming up with a series of articles on the launch of Google+, which ranked No. 1 for the months they appeared as well.
I came up with the idea to write this article from my CEO's standpoint. I not only pitched the editor, I conducted the research (at the time it was written, not many digital agencies were considered "lead" agencies), and I wrote the article on behalf of my CEO.
