Educator, Librarian

I'm retired from full time teaching, but not ready for retirement. I have 28 years in libraries and education, so I have the skills needed to help young people and adults find information, learn new things, be creative. I care deeply about what is happening in my region and I'm looking for an opportunity to change the area in positive, innovative ways.

Specialties include:

  • Creating a welcoming environment for students, guests, patrons
  • Thinking outside the box and problem solving
  • Organizing materials and lessons to ensure learning
  • Finding accurate, appropriate information and answers
  • Encouraging and guiding students of all ages to use photography creatively
  • Working well with a diversity of ages and backgrounds
