Volunteer Roles

Board of Directors

The OConnor House

The OConnor House is a local nonprofit organization in the Indianapolis area. This organization provides residential housing and services for disadvantaged expectant mothers in crisis pregnancies, serving over 100 women and 200 infant/toddlers since it’s inception. I began as a volunteer during the organization’s infancy and over the history of the OConnor House, I have been directly involved in many administrative, operational and strategic leadership roles including grant writing, fundraising, strategic planning, community outreach, and budgeting. I currently sit on the Board of Directors for this organization. My experience with this organization solidified my passion for the nonprofit sector and the significant role I would like to pursue in philanthropy.
