CRM Module helps the client to manage marketing and pre-sales activities with the goal of generating new business for customers and prospects; Also, it helps in managing the complete end-to-end process of selling project-based services to customers. HCM Module helps the company to efficiently manage and execute all employee related tasks like people master data management and personnel administration.

The purpose of this project is to Implement SAP Business ByDesign for a Professional Services Company. I was responsible for handling HCM Module. Clients were focused in keeping a tab on their current workforce, maintaining personnel administration and leave management system. People Master Data management and Personnel Administration are the two approaches to deal with personnel data in SAP ByD. The Time and Labor Management offers the client to manage employees time data. It has functions of tracking and monitoring different time recording options and transfer of account balances. In addition to the requirements of the role of an implementation consultant, I focused to position the project as a winning solution for everyone involved by motivating, coaching and inspiring. The projects requirements were prioritized and project activities were delivered by implementation methodology. The focus of the project is to implement SAP Business ByDesign for the professional services company where they help clients develop and deploy result-oriented analytics solutions that enable them to make smarter decisions using their data. SAP ByD enables the client to plan and execute the entire lifecycle of projects of any scope. The core processes includes managing projects, scheduling, resource staffing, cost estimation and management. Projects empowers the clients to collaborate most efficiently with all parties involved in the project within the company. The Marketing Scenario of SAP ByD supports the client from Market development, campaign management, lead generation, and lead qualification phases through the opportunity creation phase. The targeted campaigns were executed to generate more leads, shorten the lead cycle, increase the conversion rate into opportunities, as well as reduce the cost of sales and marketing. This eased the job of inside sales and sales teams. The Supplier relationship management seeks greater sourcing effectiveness and procurement efficiency, this process provides complete transparency in order to keep customer commitments. To manage their workforce efficiently, maintenance of the full set of employee and employment related data according to country specific regulations was delivered. Also, the need to manage all aspects of employees' time data, time and labor scenario enables to increase the speed and accuracy of payroll preparation and optimize labor investment.

I performed the requirement analysis for the Customer Relationship Management and Human Capital Management modules by working with the project stakeholders. I identified and prioritized the system requirements, which was documented in SAP requirements specification. The specification included use
cases, such as contract management to invoicing, and the series of individual steps that explain an end user's interaction with the system, such as release the order and confirm billing information. Requirements were elicited using the business process descriptions, use case, site visits, task and workflow analysis. Acted as an intermediate between the customer and the development team for any enhancement. Also, participated in peer reviews to validate the requirements as well as reviews of the system design, and test cases to confirm the system adheres to documented requirements.
