Video Reporter

GlobalGirl Media

My role consisted on making video reports on different issues and events related to women in Morocco and to the Youth in general in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Morocco, the U.S. Peace Corp, the USAID , and World Press Photo.

In the Summer of 2012, we partnered with the U .S. Peace Corp and started a project on sexual harassment that consisted of gathering testimonies around the country from girls, young and older women who have different socio-economic background to tell their stories and the extent to which sexual harassment afflicted their lives.

After the short documentary was screened in many Moroccan cities and abroad (since mid-2013), a new project of law was recently proposed in the parliament to extend the penal law code that penalizes sexual harassment in the workplace to the streets.
