I am a Project Manager with diverse experience in the construction and design industry. I have experience ranging from manual labor in construction, architectural design, structural engineering, and real estate development project management of multi-million dollar projects. As a LEED Accredited Professional, I am especially interested in sustainable design; finding and implementing new construction methods and materials in order to leave less impact on our environment while saving time, money, and creating better spaces and communities for our world. I am interested in innovative companies that want to improve our world and believe in the motto that "Quality will out".
Feb 2004 - Present
In the beginning with NTP Memories, LLC, I started the company creating Video Memory Montages for weddings, families and other special events. As I gained more experience and equipment I have opened the company into offering more media production services such as: videography, video editing and production, photography, website design, home movie transfer (including 8mm reel to reel film, VHS, MiniDV, 8mm cassette, etc.), photo restoration, photo (negative and print) and slide archiving, and many more services in these areas.
Recently I have decided to expand my services to bring in some of my construction and design knowledge and experience. I now also offer AutoCAD drafting services, Project Management consulting, and LEED certification consulting services for those companies seeking to achieve LEED certification on their building project.

I had many responsibilities for this residential developer that stretch beyond my Project Manager title.
As Project Manager, I was responsible for managing our residential construction projects from concept to construction. I would work with the design professionals - architects, engineers, etc. - to coordinate the design of each part of the project. Once designed, I work with the municipalities in order to obtain the correct permits in order to begin construction. Our projects would range from $350,000 single family residences, up to a multi-million dollar condominium subdivision. I would also assist in the selection of subcontractors, requesting bids as well as ensure they complete their job as contracted to do. I would work with the construction manager and superintendent in the field to help with any questions throughout construction, and help ensure that the project is built according to plan.
Other duties I held at this small company included being in charge of IT for the office which included maintaining our in house server, our office network, security for our computers and network, as well as any other technical issues that would come up. I was responsible for any in house AutoCAD work, graphic design and website design for the company using software like Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop to come up with marketing material, as well as many other issues or items that come up that required my attention.
Aug 2003 - Apr 2004
At this position, I was responsible for managing the structural design of new construction and remodels for residential and small commercial/retail projects. The structural design of these projects included using AutoCAD, various structural design programs (like Risa, Enercalc, etc.), as well as hand calculations to help design the structural system of the building according to code while maintaining the Architectural design of the building. A budget was to be maintained and managed while working on these designs. I was also responsible for keeping in contact and communicating with the Architects and/or the client throughout the design and construction process. On occasions, I was responsible for going out to the site for special structural observations during construction as well.

College Program Intern
As part of the Walt Disney World College Program I worked in the Magic Kingdom as a Custodial Host. Besides the obvious custodial duties this role entailed, a large part of this role required me to be trained and be responsible for the world famous guest service that the Disney Parks are known for. I took that part of my job quite seriously and was recognized by my peers and managers as a leader by how I would present myself "on stage".
Another part of this program allowed me to network with Disney Professionals, such as Imagineers in my case, and partake in various training and other learning opportunities that are only available to Disney Cast Members.
Sep 2002 - Dec 2002
My main responsibility at this position was electronically drafting structural plans using AutoCAD. I also ran structural calculations according to local code for a few residential, church and small commercial/retail projects.
May 2000 - Aug 2002
I worked for both the Phoenix office as well as the then Denver, Colorado office for PK Associates. As a Structural Designer I learned many things and had many responsibilities during my time working for PK. One responsibility was to perform Special Structural Observations to ensure construction went according to plans for projects such as the 22 story Manhattan residential apartment lofts in downtown Denver, Colorado. I would meticulously review structural shop drawings to ensure design compliance. I also designed structural elements such as footings and foundations, floor and roof trusses, concrete tilt-up panels and other structural elements for various commercial, retail, industrial, and residential projects throughout Arizona, California, and Colorado. At this position I would work full time hours during the summers and part time hours durring the school year.
