Objective

To hone my current skills and gain new ones in the world of theatre; specifically, to learn all that I can about my passions, acting and sound design, and to effectively and artistically apply those skills.

Skills

Skills

Sound Design

I have designed and run sound for numerous theatrical and dance companies, including the Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Tennessee Shakespeare Festival, Rockstar Dance Company, Hermitage Dance Academy, and the Mount Juliet Dance Studio. I operated as sound designer for the Tennessee Shakespeare Festival's 2010 production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona, which featured numerous country covers with a Shakespearean twist. I also designed sound for every dance company to utilize the Wilson Central stage from 2006-2009. I am currently employed as Student Help in the Tucker Theatre at Middle Tennessee State University, where I utilize my current sound design skills and gain new ones as I learn from teachers and experience.

Acting

I specialize and have the most experience in Shakespeare, Children's Theatre, and Farce. I have taken part in the Nashville Shakespeare Festival's Apprentice Company for the past  three years(2008-2010) and took part in the Tennessee Shakespeare Festival's Apprentice program in 2010. For the Nashville Shakespeare Festival, I have played the Volscian Spy/Nicanor in their 2008 production of Coriolanus, and as Gremio in their 2009 production of The Taming of the Shrew. For their 2010 production of Love's Labor's Lost, I acted as Director's Apprentice under director Denice Hicks. For the Tennessee Shakespeare Festival in 2010, I understudied the roles of the three Outlaws, performing once as Outlaw #3, while designing and operating sound for the production. Some other roles have included Ferraillon in A Flea in Her Ear, Tim Allgood in Noises Off, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, King Arthur in A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, and Borachio/Friar Francis in Much Ado About Nothing.
