Golf Shop Attendant

The Ridge at Manitou Golf Club

I was responsible for providing courteous and professional services to the members and guests. My primary function was to coordinate the operations of the inside and outside golf services in an organized and efficient manner. My duties included but were not limited to:

·Supervision of Member/Guest Service Attendants and Driving Range Attendants in the absence of Member/Guest Services Manager

·Product Knowledge, special orders, sales, and merchandising

·POS operation and knowledge

·Timely and efficient registration of Members/Guests in Golf Shop

·Answering telephone calls and directing or responding to all inquiries in a professional manner

·Management of pace of play while on duty, oversees the efforts of the Ranger and Starter positions

·Daily management of tee sheets and proper reconciliation of member, guest, and employee rounds

·Assist in coordination of corporate events

·Supervise merchandising and cleanliness standards of Golf Shop

·Provide leadership and effective conflict resolution management-proper procedure for dealing with members and guests

Member/Guest Servies Attendant

·Supervision of the Driving Range Attendants

·Ensure effective and efficient coordination of all duties assigned to the Member/Guest Services staff including providing the highest level of service and most importantly providing consistency in the daily tasks and duties

·Utilize proper greeting procedures for members and guests

·Loading and unloading members and guests clubs from motor vehicles

·Provide shuttle transportation for members and guests from parking lot to clubhouse or driving range

·Direct all member and guest flow from bag drop/cart storage area to driving range, clubhouse or Golf Shop

·Assist in the coordination of all member events, corporate events and other relevant functions with special needs

·Cart knowledge including safe cart operation, proper cart towing procedures, daily cart set up and organization and cart cleaning and storage procedures

·Ensuring appropriate number of hitting areas and movement of such based on turf management guidelines

·Keep range pyramids stacked

·Collection of range balls from the range and perimeter bush areas on a nightly basis

·Operate range cart/picker responsibly and safely

·Provide a supply of clean range balls by washing daily

·Provide assistance to other areas of golf operations staff as needed

·Work areas safety awareness including sun protection, slips and falls, cart battery safety, ball washer detergent/bleach dangers
