Dr. Lucy Papillon is a modern day renaissance woman. Not only does Dr. Lucy Papillon have a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, but she also holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Lucy Papillon is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of California with a special certification in psychology from the National Register of Health Service Providers. She is also an ordained interfaith minister and an advanced student of all major world religions. Dr. Lucy Papillon is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Division of Counseling Psychology for the APA, the Association for Media Psychology, and the Association for Transpersonal Psychology.
Dr. Lucy Papillon has received numerous honors and awards, such as the National Endowment for the Arts Humanities Award, and she has lectured at many workshops and seminars on topics such as abuse, eating disorder treatments, innovative therapeutic interventions, spirituality, women, love, coping with loss, and maintaining joy for life. Often an expert guest on national radio and television shows, Dr. Lucy Papillon also worked as a Producer and Host of the television series Breaking Through, which discussed topics such as life issues and spiritual concepts. Dr. Lucy Papillon has published no less than nine written works, and she is making progress on more groundbreaking literature.
Recently, Dr. Lucy Papillon founded The Center of Light in Los Angeles, California. Drawing on 20 years of experience in the fields of health care and spirituality, Dr. Lucy Papillon opened the Center of Light ministry to help provide care, support, strength, and peace for those in need, no matter their religion or culture, accepting everyone. Using her unique understanding of the mind and spirit, Dr. Lucy Papillon offers a one-of-a-kind approach to the care of individuals, couples, families, and organizations.
