Justin Hillock, DDS received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Iowa State University of Science and Technology and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2006. Immediately after graduation, Justin Hillock, DDS joined the staff at Community Health Care, Inc. (CHC), a federally qualified health center and dental clinic based in Davenport, Iowa. As a participant in the Smiles for All project funded by the Quad City Health Initiative, part of Dr. Hillock’s substantial student loan was reduced in exchange for his services as a dentist. This creative approach to providing health care allowed an additional 1,400 patients to receive dental care with Justin Hillock, DDS.

After Justin Hillock, DDS worked for a year with CHC, he joined Guthrie Center Family Dentistry in 2007, where he still practices, treating patients of all ages and focusing on patients who have developed a fear of going to the dentist. The following year, the town of Coon Rapids recruited him to fill the need for dentistry in its community. Coon Rapids Municipal Utilities provided a loan to Justin Hillock, DDS through its Revolving Loan Fund, which allowed Dr. Hillock to furnish his practice with the necessary dental equipment.

Like many Iowans, Justin Hillock, DDS is also a farmer. Dr. Hillock supports the local 4H and Future Farmers of America, and he volunteers at Living History Farms, which teaches about farming practices from the past. Justin Hillock, DDS also enjoys hunting and fishing and supports Pheasants Forever Inc. in its effort to restore habitat for game birds in Iowa. Justin Hillock, DDS, a skilled dog breeder and trainer, was honored by Pheasants Forever Inc. in its Des Moines, Iowa, parade by the inclusion of one of his sporting dogs.
