SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL - TS/SCI

Linguist/Interpreter (Pashto/Urdu): 11/2009-12/2014

Kandahar Airfield (KAF)-Kandahar, Afghanistan. Worked in the Regional Command-South (RC-S) Area of Operation, under and in support of NATO and ISAF forces in Afghanistan. Performed and provided Linguist services to American forces within the Kandahar City area. Served as a  Linguist while holding a NATO Security Clearance of Secret. Acted as Interpreter, between members of the 82nd Airborne Division and local Afghan Police Forces (ANP). These Linguist services included talking directly with the local population, both in Pashto and Urdu, along with translating for American Officers when they met with their Afghan Police counterparts. Have also performed written translation, while taking notes between American Officers and local Afghan Police Commanders. Translated for American Investigators, while interviewing local Afghan workers. Such interviews included taking down information in Pashto and Urdu, while collecting Biographical information on the interviewee. Passed on collected information to American Investigators and American Counter Intelligence personnel, in a translated American English format. Personally handled written information, up to the classified level of Secret, while inputting information into the Biometric Automated Toolset System (BATS). While engaging with local Afghan workers in Pashtu, have collected such other information such as personal Biometrics, that included Iris Scans, fingerprinting, and facial recognition photos. Conducted over 700 missions alongside the US Military, while translating for them on combat patrols outside the wire, within the Kandahar City area.
