With more than 15+ years of experience in various aspects of highways & major infrastructure projects, starting as a skilled draughtsman with multi disciplined drafting Skills through to my current role as a CAD Manager.

 Main responsibility includes overseeing, implementing, standardising and approving all issues relating to Cad work and design drawings. Coordinates works in other offices in the region in a professional, cost effective and timely manner in compliance with company's and or client's quality policies.

Assist project managers and guide engineers, manage and train the team of multi- disciplined, multi-cultural CAD engineers and Technicians. Liaised with CADD production centres of Mouchel offices in India.

Work included direct management, QA/QC System, administration, coordination, supervision and direct involvement in preparation of detailed design drawings for various infrastructure projects.

Wide knowledge on latest application software, IT Infrastructure with expertise in the application of CAD/IT/GIS and troubleshooting of problem areas and maintenance. Exposed at ISO 9001, and BSI environment, familiar and wide knowledge and expertise on most commonly used DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CAD and Documents); such as ACONEX, Business Collaborator database system.

  • Overseeing the execution of all design and CAD works in the Dubai office and coordinating works in other offices in the Middle East Region in a professional, cost effective and timely manner in compliance with the company's and the client's quality policies.

Infrastructure Utilities Services:

Mechanical and Electrical:

Preparation of detailed design drawing for pump stations, lifting stations for sewerage treatment plant / water treatment plant. Preparation of detailed mechanical drawings including: different machine parts, assembly drawings, sheet metal drawings, fabrication, frame structure drawings and industrial piping drawings as well as associated bills of materials.

Preparation of detailed design drawing for Electrical HV (400 kV, 132kV and 11kV), LV both Industrial and residential Area and Street lighting network layouts and related single line diagrams as per specifications.


Preparation of Plan, Elevation, Sections,enlarged plans at bathroom, kitchen and dressing rooms, internal elevations corridors, entrance lobby detailed drawings in staircases, doors, and handrails etc.

3D Modelling:

Experienced in the preparation of 3D models for various types of Civil, Mechanical and Structural Projects through the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D Design, solid works and Photoshop.

Drawings Checking & Review:

Reviewing drawings in term of maintaining the consistency set by the drawing drafting procedures. Ensure drawing quality, presentation, drawing numbering system, revisions sequence are correct. Checking the drawing to make sure appropriate information is shown with respect to disciplinary drawings and basic design information is correct and client comments are addressed. 

With working knowledge of GIS, I have had the chance to work in different aspects in the scope of GIS like data creation by digitization and conversion from various other data formats, creation of maps at various descriptive and informative levels.

Health & Safety Coordinator:
As a Safety Coordinator acts as a conduit for communication between the SHEQ Manager and the employees regarding health and safety matters.


  • Ensure Risk Assessments as directed by SHEQ Team are carried out for all activities undertaken by office staffs. 
  • Deal with comments and complaints from staff on Health, Safety and Welfare matters promptly and appropriately. 
  • Ensure that any long term actions produced from the Unsafe Observation Cards are closed out are forwarded to SHEQ on a monthly basis. 
  • Conduct a Health & Safety induction for all new members of staff to the Company including fire and emergency evacuation instruction within 2 days of joining. 
  • Report any Health and Safety training needs to SHEQ Team.
    Ensure that Health and Safety training including first aid training records are maintained.
  • Carry out Inspections and Office Risk Assessments according to the requirements under the Environmental Health and Safety Management Manual.
  • Make sure that staff are provided with appropriate PPE, that they receive relevant instructions and training in its use and maintenance and confirm that staff are using PPE provided. 
  • Represent the office/project at the Safety Committee as requested. 
  • Demonstrate leadership of, and commitment to Health and Safety, setting a personal example at all times.
