Introduced a business management application (CONNECTWISE) moving away from a manual timesheet system this enabled the company to integrate automations and workflows for service delivery and technical support management, allowing the company to realign SLAs and internal reporting capabilities.
Created Helpdesk, Professional and Project services boards with workflows, direct integration into NCENTRAL for tracking of automated tasks.
Business product for private cloud infrastructure;
Designed and implemented multi tenanted environment to support multiple companies in an isolated and secure environment, using state of art equipment to provide N+1 redundancy, diverse data paths in and out of the network enabling the reliance on internet services providers this was achieved by presenting IP blocks out to the internet which can be reachable via any of the terminated upstream providers.
Server infrastructure consolidation;
Situation: Company has been running 36 aged care facilities with independent servers and IT support companies
Solution: Proposed a server consolidation and rollout of a MPLS network nationally to bring all the facilities into a single network to deliver network and desktop resources from an datacentre.
Delivery: Implemented a blade chassis with SANs to house all of the virtual servers and data collected, created project technical delivery documentation (facility audits, data captures, WAN cutover, cutover), provided workshop with deployment engineers, attended first 3 facility cutovers, addresses issues as required then moved on cutover national - worked with deployment engineers providing technical assistants and maintaining backend system configuration and updates.
Outcome: All independent servers removed from facilities, data migrated to datacentre, users migrated to a Terminal server and replaced desktop workstations with thin clients to lower end-user support requests.
Wireless network upgrade;
Situation: School requested to have wireless access across all 4 campuses with the ability to authenticate using Active directory. The business had a duty of care which require them to be able to report on IP address and web activity as requested by mentors and parents.
Solution: Proposed installation of HP access points, controllers powered by dual SonicWALL and HP SDN with NetProtector
Delivery: Setup and deployed HP wireless controllers, then deployed access points across all campuses, multi SSID used (Private for domain managed devices, Public for BYOD devices, Guest for non active directory users), network switches updated to accommodate for Software Defined Networking across, this technology enabled me to configured the network blocks at the end user device ensuring unnecessary traffic doesn't going on to the network backbone to cause saturation and load.
