Participated and assisted in employee meeting’s, reviewed/revised pieces of engineering projects in the marketing department, researched extensively for metro rail projects which included airports nationwide, organized and maintained filing system, edited photographs for metro rail projects, created documents for copyright material for the publishing of a book, consulted with vendors for office supplies and copyright materials. Assisted the accounting department with data entry and updated employees resumes as well as project descriptions for database use.

The Rotunda Student Newspaper

Responsible for financial operations and advertising for weekly newspaper.  Obtained advertisements from national, local, and on-campus outlets. Handled  roughly a $20,000 budget, which included invoicing, promotion, and national conferences. Planned for the Associated Collegiate Press Conference held in the spring. Wrote and implemented Standards of Procedures manual for Business Department manual for successor.

Workhouse Arts Center

Assisted marketing department with online calendar submissions and distributed marketing collateral to promote upcoming Lorton Arts Foundation events and art exhibitions. Created and maintain contact sheets for LAF/Workhouse. Managed press coverage binders and files. Provided support to LAF events including the set up, supervision of volunteers and break down post-event. Produced recaps and press releases for events. Assisted with additional general office needs.

Provided support to the Defense and Space division with the preparation of two large government contracts, supported  the CEO directly with developing materials needed for both large and small projects, maintained daily activities task list, coordinated with vendors to complete office projects, provided assistance getting company’s new office set up which included décor, provide administrative support managing telephones and mail, assist the Travel Division inputting client information into their databases, participated in group discussion to plan various projects.
