Assigned to HSE department, environment team as a senior executive to comply the environment regulation regarding air monitoring, schedule waste and written notification for equipment in plant. Do regular site inspection and liaise with DOE regarding environment issue.

INTERNSHIP

UMW LUBETECH SDN BHD

Worked in the Lube Technology Management. Involved in the research and development of new synthetic oil. Undergone training in safety in chemical handling such as PPE, HAZOP and HAZID. Translated the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and constructed process flow diagram for experiment process.

Project History

  • Final Year Project, Master of Chemical Engineering,

      Title : Scale-up of Micro Trickle Bed Reactor.

An individual projects where the main task was to identify the reactor hydrodynamics, the optimum temperature for the process as well as the new RF technology applied. The result was astonished as the RF technology was found to enhance the process in the reactor as well as reducing time which is crucial in industry.

 

  • 3rd Year Project, Bachelor of Chemical Engineering,

      Title : Production of Phthalic Anhydride.

A group project of multiracial students designing a complete chemical plant for the production of phthalic anhydride which is an intermediate in oil industry. Mainly in charge of a distillation column where the product is achieve. Method to design a distillation column and costing of the equipment were learnt throughout this process.

 

  • 2nd Year Project, Bachelor of Chemical Engineering,

      Title : Production of Acetic Acid

Member of a team. Contributed ideas and involved in designing a chemical plant for the production of acetic acid. Designed a flow diagram of the process with the complete mass and energy balance.
