Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
·Develop Merchandise assortment in partnership with merchandising team & Review product assortment with cross-functional teams
·Maintain expert knowledge of customer base be leading/directing store visits. Evaluate product execution and point of view, get customer and store associate feedback.
·Work closely with Planning team to determine quantities for each style, evaluating at style, class and department level against plans, determining retail prices and presenting information to management.
·Responsible for creating an exciting and trendy product assortment that exceeds the sales volume and profit projections.
·Manage the information flow from Merchandising/Design to PR/Marketing and Production.
·Lead and inspire the merchandising/design team to develop product for multiple channels of distribution.
·Lead a division of merchandising, sourcing and production team.
·Ensure final product lines are brand-appropriate, innovative, high quality and exceed industry standards.
·Plan current and forecast future business projections based on historical analysis.
·Research and observe standards for merchandise with Visual Team.
·Research and observe competition from design, pricing, presentation, and marketing standpoint, as to consistently stay ahead of the competition.
·Collaborate on the development of all licensed products for the division in coordination with design and licensing team.
·Leading a team of 6-8 people
