I called people and ask them questions following a script provided by my employer. Interviewers log the respondents' answers into a computer system. If a potential interview subject is unwilling to participate,I would try to coax them into completing the survey. The interviews often take place in the evenings and on weekends but I worked in the mornings doing business to business surveys. Often, we called applicants to obtain more detailed information on their health history.

This job required me to take control and delegate responsibilities to other workers, as well as getting my hands just as dirty as my employees. One of the main requirements for this position is people skills, and you have to know how to work with your employees just as well as the customers. I was busy dealing with customers, answering phones, filing paperwork, training new employees, cleaning the store/office and covering shifts when I was shorthanded, I did not have time to sit back and relax while telling other people what to do.
