Customer Service Associate
I began at Lowe's as a front end cashier and have moved to be a customer service associate. I assist customers with any and all problems they encounter and am looked at for assistance by other co-workers. I stand in as Head Cashier (basically the top of the chain of the front end) whenever I am needed to, whether it is during a lunch break or when one goes home sick. I have been told that I excel at customer service and in my knowledge of the company.
Mar 2011 - Present
I am currently a Freelance Writer for the Mankato Free Press. I receive random assignments from the Currents Editor and am required to conduct interviews and do research to write a feature story. I have written stories on various events happening in the community.

Street Team Intern
Over the summer of 2010, I interned at Radio Mankato--a studio with multiple radio stations. I was a member of the Street Team, meaning I was able to help with promotions and office work. Some of the activities I participated in were the Mankato fireworks fundraiser, parades, choosing which Public Service Announcements would air on the radio and promoted the Hot 96.7 radio station at different college campuses.
