Brendez Wineglass, a dedicated millennial leader in the events industry, is a native New Yorker and graduate of Howard University. Holding a degree in sports medicine and chemistry, she decided to expand her horizons, matching her passion for social engagement and event production, launching a career and business to merge the two.
During her tenure as an events producer at Black Enterprise, she has held a pivotal role both in the organization as well as independently coordinating of top-tier events, working top brands including Nationwide,State Farm, AT&T and Morgan Stanley, FedEx, PepsiCo, as well as top industry leaders,including the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Judith Smith, Don Thompson, Susan Taylor, Charlayne Hunter-Gault, Audrey Smaltz, Don Thompson, Michael Lee-Chin, Steve Harvey and Mellody Hobson to name a few.This work has strengthened her experience in bridging companies and consumers with life changing and enhancing experiences across the nation.
Wineglass, age 27 also serves on several boards including the executive board of the Howard University Alumni Club of Greater New York and Blacks in Public Relations Society of NY, and she is a member of influencer organizations including BWOI (Black Women of Influence), B. Dot - Integrated Branding Agency, ColorComm, Silicon Harlem, and Startups Illustrated. She has been a leading speaker and expert in the areas of entrepreneurship, leadership & Development, healthcare, community engagement, social media, technology, and community advocacy,seeking to continue a legacy of giving back to younger generations.
