Senior Vice President of Sales

Digital Witness LLC now Westec Interactive
  • Repositioned business model from video security systems sold on a traditional hardware purchase model to a recurring revenue software model (SaaS). Added over 3,000 subscribers throughout the United States.
  • In 2004, started with 8 sales reps in Dallas and grew to over 70 reps in eight cities across the United States. Our customer base grew from zero to over 3,000 monthly subscribers with recurring monthly revenue growing to over $1 million.
  • Implemented Salesforce.com throughout company including sales, account management, lead generation, marketing, customer service and installation processes. Configured dashboards, custom reports, workflow and approval processes. Developed custom objects for commission payrolls and sales recruiting.
  • Digital Witness was sold in October 2007 to Iowa-based Westec Interactive for $32.5 million. At the time the company was sold, I received a retention agreement which ended in January 2009.

Sendo America
  • Responsible for all financial operations of Sendo America.
  • Sendo America was created in 2002 to be the U.S. based marketing and financial arm of Birmingham, UK based Sendo. Sendo supplied mobile phones to network operators in the UK, Europe and Asia.
  • Sendo partnered with Microsoft to develop “Smart Phone” technology. Although Sendo America secured sales orders from US mobile phone providers such as Cingular, the Sendo parent company was unable to develop the software to launch the product in the United States.

  • OmniSpace, a SaaS provider, was founded in 1998 to deliver online collaboration and coordination capability for multi-company, geographically dispersed business processes.
  • OmniSpace Customers included Deloitte & Touche Management Solutions, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, Perot Systems, Global Crossing, BellCanada, and Marathon-Ashland Petroleum.
  • OmniSpace investors included Interwest Partners, CenterPoint Ventures and HO2 Partners.

  • Founded in 1983 by Lucy Crow Billingsley, Wyndham Jade is a travel and event company specializing in incentives, meetings, business travel fulfillment and convention housing and registration services.
  • Moved company from unprofitable position in first year. Shut down the company’s unsuccessful student travel division.
  • Successfully sold the company’s cruise line agency to a publicly traded company in an all-cash transaction.
  • Positioned company for successful sale to Hunt Financial Corp.

  • Co-founded company focused on servicing and collecting automobile loans.
  • Grew company to over $50 million in revenue and 4,000 dealership customers in 49 states by December, 1997.
  • Completed Initial Public Offering on NASDAQ in July, 1995 and secondary stock offering in March, 1996.

  • Westcott Communications was founded to create and produce industry specific news, training and informational television programs delivered via satellite.
  • Joined company at startup as Vice President of Sales & Marketing; became President and Chief Operating Officer in January, 1987.
  • Completed Initial Public Offering in July, 1989.
  • Company sold in 1996 for $422 million.
