Self Employed

Professionally rode Thoroughbred Racehorses throughout the United States.  Jockeys are self employed contractors. A normal schedule would include: exercising horses 6-7 days a week early in the morning (to enhance the chances of getting mounts in races), and riding in the afternoons on race days. Conjointly with the horse's trainer and owner I planned racing strategies and provided accurate feedback after dismounting.  Riding requires a strict diet, along with great physical strength, fitness and stamina. In addition race riding requires fast reaction speeds and a fearless attitude. Most importantly, it is a priority to be dedicated and determined to able myself to endure the risks and pressures of the horse racing industry.

Supply Assistant/Keeper of Specialist

New York State Department Of Tax and Finance

Temporary position for tax season. The position involved checking and correcting withholding tax returns where the ID number listed did not match any known entity in the system. I examined  the document. Searched the company name in New York State database using proprietary browser-based software. If the company was already in the database, I would assign the document the correct ID. If company was not in the database, I would then forward document(s) to the  appropriate department for addition to database.
