My assignment was to cover all four Middle Schools campuses within Abilene Independent School District.  My liabilities range from providing counseling to case management for over 200 students. Counsel individual’s on topics fluctuating from mental health issues, suicide, social adjustments, grief and substance abuse. Referred students to outside community resources for further assistance upon parental request. Served as a liaison between students, and campus administrators in resolving the student problematic behavior.

Assigned to case managed a Juvenile Detention Dorm. I was responsible for developing rehabilitative programs for each assigned residents, along with ensuring the safety of the residents and staff. Develop liaisons and networks with TYC Parole officers, Correctional staff and aftercare agencies. Provide or arrange for medical, mental health or substance abuse treatment services according to individual needs or court orders.
