As an executive with experience in a wide range of industries (Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Pharmaceuticals), Koben Miceli has consistently delivered results in each of his business ventures by building strong teams, using Lean manufacturing principles, and focusing on financial basics. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 1993. Koben Miceli then worked for two years as an Outside Sales and Manufacturing Representative, offering custom packaging to aerospace and defense companies in New England. During the following years, Koben Miceli gained experience in the health care industry through his position as an Operations Analyst for Boston-based Partners HealthCare. After completing his Master of Business Administration at Suffolk University, Koben Miceli was accepted into a management development program at Avery Dennison Corporation, an adhesives and office products company. The program took him to manufacturing and supply locations around the country in 1997 and 1998. Gaining skills in managing manufacturing teams and schedules, Koben Miceli oversaw the successful implementation of systems to improve work flow, quality, and productivity. Following the completion of the program, Koben Miceli served as a Supply Chain Consultant for Avery Dennison in South America, handling projects within the Office Products and Materials Group in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Santiago, Chile. Koben Miceli subsequently held positions in supply chain management at a number of companies, including The Stanley Works (now Stanley Black and Decker, Inc.), a tool manufacturing company, where he led logistics to support new product introductions at national retailers such as Walmart and Home Depot. As the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Manager for a struggling division in Dallas, Texas, Koben Miceli helped reengineer operations, achieving an increase of 28% in service levels and a reduction of 90% in customer back orders. From 2007 to 2009, Koben Miceli served as Senior Director of Globalization Strategy in the Aerospace division at Honeywell International Inc. prior to becoming General Manager at Catalent, Inc., in 2009.
